Installing Sharperlight Add-In for Excel

You will be able to install the Sharperlight Add-in using Company Portal. Below are the steps in installing the add-in and setting up the configuration.

• Open up Company Portal from the start menu
• Click on the Apps button
• Scroll down until you see the Sharperlight 5.1 application & click on the app
• Click on the Install button
• Once installed go to the Sharperlight folder in the start menu and click on Client Set up
• To configure Shareperlight connection…
  • Expand remote connections, and click on Remote Data Model (001)
  • In the right hand Pane set the following two attributes.
    • Connection > Enable = True
    • Connection Details > Server Name = az-uk-sapapp01

• Click Test, if successful click OK for the speed test.
• Click OK to close

• Open Excel and there should be a Sharperlight Tab (If you do not see the tab close Excel, open up the Sharperlight folder 5.1 in the start menu and click on Install Excel Add-in)
  • Click into the Sharperlight tab
  • Click on Login
    • Guest / No password
  • Click on Tables

The add-in is now ready to use
