When clicking on an email address within teams or outlook it does not open up in outlook and instead opens up in a web browser as a search tab. Here are the steps to change the email default app in Windows to Outlook.
- Use the Search Bar on the windows taskbar to find Default Apps.
- Under Email Default Apps, Select Outlook on the programs list
- When clicking on an email address it will now open up as a new draft email within outlook.
