Setting up ODBC Redshift Driver & Data Source

If you need to connect to our AWS Redshift Data Warehouse files please follow the below steps to get you setup.

• Download Amazon Redshift 64-bit Driver from Company Portal
• Once installed open up ODBC Data Source Administrator (64-Bit)
  Select User DSN > Add > Amazon Redshift (x64) > Finish
  Enter the following:
  • Data Source Name: ANW Redshift
  • Server: 172.50.220.169
  • Port: 5439
  • Database: db01
  • User: anwuser
  • Password: Adele1921
• Click 'Test Connection' to see the connection successful message
• Click OK

To update the setting on Excel follow the below steps

• Open your Excel Report & select the Data tab
• Click on Get Data & Select Data Source Settings
• Select Change Source (bottom of the window)
• Select the data source name - ANW Redshift
• When prompted enter the username and password from above again
• Save and close these windows. you should now be able to refresh your report
• Do this for every report
